Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before engaging Superior West Haven Concrete ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") for any services or before using our website at concretewesthaven.com. By contacting us, requesting an estimate, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Your use of our website and any engagement with our services constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or request our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and the revised version will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated effective date.
Superior West Haven Concrete provides concrete contracting services in West Haven, CT and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to, concrete driveway installation, patio construction, sidewalk installation, foundation work, stamped concrete, retaining walls, and related concrete services.
All services are subject to availability, project scope, permitting requirements, and site conditions. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
All estimates provided by Superior West Haven Concrete are free and based on the information available at the time of the on-site assessment. Estimates are not binding contracts. Final pricing is determined by the written proposal or contract executed between the parties before work begins.
Pricing may change if site conditions differ materially from what was observed during the estimate, if the scope of work is modified by the client, or if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding.
All written proposals expire 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted. Material and labor costs are subject to change, and quotes issued beyond this window may require revision.
Project start dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, permit timelines, material availability, or other factors outside our control. We will communicate any schedule changes as soon as possible.
Concrete work is weather-dependent. We reserve the right to reschedule pours if temperatures, precipitation, or ground conditions are not suitable for a quality result. We will not pour concrete in conditions that would compromise the finished product.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has begun may be subject to costs incurred to that point. Details will be outlined in your project contract.
Payment terms are specified in the written project contract. A deposit may be required before work begins to secure your place on the schedule and cover initial material costs. The remaining balance is typically due upon project completion and your approval of the finished work.
Accepted payment methods will be outlined in your contract. Payments not received by the due date may result in a hold on warranty service or additional fees as specified in the contract.
Title to any materials installed on your property transfers to you upon receipt of final payment in full.
Where required by local ordinance, Superior West Haven Concrete will obtain the necessary permits before beginning work. Permit fees are the responsibility of the client and will be itemized in the project contract.
The client is responsible for ensuring that any homeowners association rules, deed restrictions, or local ordinances governing the property are satisfied before project commencement. We are not responsible for delays or costs arising from restrictions the client did not disclose.
We stand behind the quality of our work. Any warranty coverage will be specified in your written project contract. In the absence of a written warranty, the following general limitations apply.
Concrete is a natural material subject to cracking, settling, and surface variation over time. Hairline cracks, minor surface variations, and color differences are characteristics of concrete, not defects. We do not warrant against these conditions.
We are not responsible for damage caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: acts of nature, flooding, ground movement, tree roots, improper use, failure to seal or maintain the surface, or damage caused by third parties after project completion.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE WRITTEN PROJECT CONTRACT.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Superior West Haven Concrete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services or these terms, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific project. Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for any liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to provide accurate information about your property and project needs when requesting an estimate or entering into a contract. You are responsible for ensuring adequate access to the work area, including clearing the area of vehicles, personal property, or obstructions before work begins.
You agree to keep children, pets, and unauthorized persons away from the work area during the project and during the curing period following concrete pours, as directed by our crew.

If a dispute arises between you and Superior West Haven Concrete, we ask that you contact us first so we can attempt to resolve it informally. Most issues can be resolved with a direct conversation.
If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in West Haven, CT, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless both parties agree in writing to a different method. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against us.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Connecticut.
